Excursions
Petters EducAsian excursions will ensure that students have experiences that bring out the true China, a moving target as China changes on an almost daily basis. While Shanghai provides a look into modern China, we want to ensure students feel and see the rich history and culture of greater China. We will attempt to show where China came from and how it's changing by showing both "old" and "new" ways of doing things. Students will learn about how the culture came to be and how it is changing. This combination will help them to understand the dynamic forces that are impacting all the Chinese, but especially their leaders.

We believe that all of our activities, including our excursions, should reinforce the curriculum as much as possible. As such, we work with the professors and curriculum developers to ensure that excursions are timed to be relevant to the modules that students are working on at that time.
