Welcome!

Studying abroad can be one of the most powerful and meaningful experiences a student can have! Students make life-long global friendships and cherish their memories for a lifetime. During the Petters EducAsian experience, students will know they are part of a team of caring individuals who are there to help.

Petters EducAsian Shanghai programs let students experience the rich cultural heritage of China and its rapidly growing business and economic future in its financial capitol and hub for global exchange.

Our semester long and shorter stay programs at Jiao Tong University provide opportunities for daily interaction between students, Shanghai's environment and Chinese citizens to promote a better understanding of culture, business relationships and the opportunity to develop long-lasting communication and learning. Integrating study of the culture with guided visits to its landmarks like Shanghai's Bund, the Shanghai museum and Jade Buddha Temple makes the learning richer, just as tours and discussions with local students and business leaders help students understand what Shanghai's exploding growth means to its citizens.

Our program is structured to provide a rigorous academic experience with an overlay of entrepreneurial business lectures and experiences to immerse the student in true cultural and global business learning. Our students will study hard and play hard as they experience Shanghai and China with guidance from experienced professionals in the academic and business community. The program is global in orientation but designed to embrace local markets, customs and learning styles.

Caring Administrators
We believe that building on the foundation of a world-class curriculum and faculty as well as imaginative, caring administrators will result in a program that makes our students come home excited about their experience in China, looking for more international experiences.

Cultural Integration
To support global learning, it is imperative that our programs provide opportunities for daily interaction between students and Chinese citizens to promote better understanding of culture, business relationships and the opportunity to develop long-lasting communication and learning. Students will interact with Chinese students on a daily basis, and when feasible, will share living accommodations.
